This was a really fun format. I hope it returns at some point.
What song?kbadr wrote:Every scene was edited with us getting up and moving the chairs (I think we had 10) into a new configuration, while our Chair Moving Song played.
Oh fucking hell yeah!! I was already sorry I had to miss the show before I knew there was fucking zither!kbadr wrote:The Third Man theme
We did? Which scene?HerrHerr wrote:We used a song from The Third Man in our first Hoover's Blanket show!!!
Andy P. would know for certain, but wasn't it the Banjo Dan's Variety hour theme?kbadr wrote:We did? Which scene?
I don't think I'd seen the film at that point so I didn't recognize it.
You really need to compile a mix CD for every show you/we have done. So many songs (particularly from that first show) are permanently bound to an insane Chris Allen Sketch in my mind.
I rarely confirm or deny anything, but I'll make an exception. It was a game-show-sounding version of The Harry Lime Theme from The Third Man that was used in Banjo Dan's Variety Hour. It's hard to recognize it as coming from the original song.HerrHerr wrote:Andy P. would know for certain, but wasn't it the Banjo Dan's Variety hour theme?kbadr wrote:We did? Which scene?

If you loved Chairs! or just missed it the first time, then you'll love the 2008 Hideout revival of Chairs!: http://forum.austinimprov.com/viewtopic.php?t=7483Lindsey wrote:I am definitely sorry I missed this. I mean the sheer number of chairs promised in the title is compelling enough. That's alot of chairs.
