How does the scheduling of lights/sound/box happen in the current system? Do we need to fill that or does the Hideout have it taken care of?

We try to staff the show with available improvisers (who will of course get a chance to play the next week).

Try to staff? Hrrmmm.
A playful lighting and a sound volunteer now would be a blessing!
The night is thin due to the start of the Frank Mills show, the regular competing CTT slot, and Vines and Allen's party kicking in.
I'd love for some people to step up and commit now (and do warm-ups with the cast. I like the lighter to be in on the stage players' group mind).

The Cast is set:
1) Kareem Badr
2) Justin Davis
3) Cody Dearing
4) Brad Temple
5) Mike K
6) Karolyn McKenzie
7) Roy Janik
8 ) Jessica Arjet
9) Eric Garza
10) Shawn Levinthal
11) Dav Wallace
12) Aden of Girls fame
We still need at least one, and preferably two, tech people!
PLAYERS (and TECH):
--Please be there at 9:00 to warm-up. Anyone later than 10 minutes without calling (217-6000) will be subject to being replaced if someone else is around and wanting in.
This is particularly important this week as we may throw several new games at you and we will use this pre-show warm-up to go over them and give them a test run.
--BE READY TO PLAY AND HAVE FUN! Again, we're going to play and have fun and throw some things at you that you don't normally see, so we need you to be playful and adapting. You really need to be GGG for this one, folks!
--Points will be played with as well! We may give, or even subtract, points throughout the show, so you have to come in wanting to play to play and not because of points. Don't worry, we won't just do this randomly, but to help the show structure.
--SUPER SECRET BONUS POINTS! Bonus points (and maybe other rewards) are also in play. We will describe this a little more fully at warm-ups, but again, playfulness and creativity will be rewarded!
Andy and or stage manager and AIC:
--Who is stage managing Saturday?
--Can we get a stack of free tickets to either just give away or to give away for good suggestions? Ideally, I'd like the cast to mingle after the show for a minute and give each member one ticket to give away to someone they speak with.
--Can we get a free AIC shirt to give away for the best suggestion of the night?
Christina and I are looking forward to it! We hope you are, too!

What the hell does this mean?
From Savage Love:
Dan Savage and his readers often use the abbreviation
GGG. This stands for "good, giving and game", and generally refers to Mr. Savage's ideal for healthy human sexuality: that a partner should be "good, giving and game" when presented with a person's fantasy, however kinky or unusual.
(Tell me that doesn't scream of having a good show?)
Maybe this expalins why no one got my DTMFA reference that one time.

From Austin Improv Community:
Austin improvisers frequently abbreviate the troupe named Girls Girls Girls as GGG.

Exactly. I thought all the men had to tuck it under for the night, and I'm just not ready for that show yet.

Context man, context!
"To be GGG" is very different than "to be in GGG" . . . But a GGG GGG is another thing all together.

A big thank you to the cast and crew from Christina and myself. You made it one hell of a fun show to direct and you were all playful and generous with each other and the audience. It was an honor to be a part of it.
Here's to many more!

Wes and Christina, you guys were terrific directors and I love that you gave us the encouragement, set up and space to be playful. I hope that fututre Maestro's will give that same kind of behavior boost. Kudos!
Everybody else, I had a blast playing with all of you, and to the (for now) Starter Kit members who played...I'm really excited about our future shows together!
