Or the one right near City Hall?

So I had a rehearsal moved up on me for that day so I cannot make the writing session this week but do hope that it becomes a regular thing so that I can participate next time.

And I forget which Java I was thinking about. Maybe Ratliff can remind me of the one we gravitate towards.

anything on Lamar works best for me, although I wouldn't mind driving down to Barton Springs or going downtown.

Is this still going on? I'd love to get in on this. My biggest problem is deadlines. I have too many unfinished stories. Like a lot of other people, I have some background in writing (creative writing focus in college, English degree with journalism minor, self-published for a while, and taught middle school English for 2 1/2 years before moving to Austin, currently a technical editor, and easily distracted). Have people met up for this workshop/writing group/whatever you call it yet?

once again expressing interest in this. I spend literally all of my free time (and a good chunk of my time at work) writing, and I feel like I never get objective feedback. Sunday at 3:30?

With the Garage Sale happening this Sunday, I worry about scheduling at the same time as it. But I think I can make it happen if enough people can be there.

I would like to do it this week. I am going to suggest Sunday at 3pm. Mike, please request a good central location for us to meet at. Whoever else wants to be there are more than invited.

sounds good to me. how 'bout La Tazza Fresca or Kasbah? Are those central enough? Hooka and writing go well together, write? I mean, right?
