Of the child, not the creation.Wesley wrote:Are the pictures of the creation part?
Speaking of children, I am also proud that I tied with my brother in being voted "Best Uncle" in 2003.
If I posted pics of the conception, you'd all need eye-bleach...

I have several published video games with my name on them:
- SSI's "Death Keep" for PC & Panasonic's 3DO gamebox
- SSI's "Slayer" for PC & Panasonic's 3DO gamebox
- The Learning Company's "Oregon Trail IV" for PC
- The Learning Company's "Road Adventures USA" for PC
- The Learning Company's "Reader Rabbit Kindergarten" for PC
- Disney/Pixar's "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Training CD" for PC
- Disney/Pixar's "Jessie's Wild West Rodeo" for PC
I have worked on a lot more video game titles that have never seen the light of day.
I used to sit on the Austin Game Developers Advisory Board with some big names in Game Development (including Warren Spector & Richard Garriot)
I am a member of the International Game Developers Association, and the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators.
I have helped to build (written classes & developed curriculum) the first "Computer Animation" degree to be offered in Central Texas.

This email from a secretary I worked with......
I did not know her that well, but she sent this to me on my last day at the law firm I worked for in Chicago:
HI Jennifer!! This is Laura VanBuskirk and this is my home e-mail account. I am now on vacation in Arizona. I meant to stop by and see you yesterday, but it was a crazy day and I didn't get down there before you left. I simply wanted to wish you the BEST of everything. I hope that in the immediate future things work out medically for your family. And in the long term, I hope you have a beautiful life where you are moving, and that you are truly content there.
You have always been very helpful to me professionally -- and very kind to me personally. In a sea of oftentimes nasty attitudes and unnecessary arrogance, you have been a welcome "calm in the storm." I'm sure you often didn't FEEL calm, but you were always nice to me, and I am grateful you were around to make things easier not only with your helpful knowledge, but also with your great attitude.
Thanks so much, and I wish you and your fiancee absolutely the best of everything now and in the future. Take VERY good care of yourself.

My sister e-mailed this to me yesterday:
"I wanted to tell you what your niece did. She received a 6 page questionairre to fill out for her yearbook (I am still in denial that she graduates from elementary school this June!). One of the questions was who is your favorite actor. Virginia put your name down. I tried to explain to her that you were not quite an actor. I said you were an improvisor, writer, director...she said that they didn't ask for her favorite one of those. So, you are her favorite actor. They didn't ask for favorite mommy or daddy, you believe that?"
So, I will always have that.

just go this email-
Hey Lamb,
It's Jeremy Brown...like the crayon, officially graduated from NMU and now a resident of Seattle, Washington. I just wanted to e-mail you, Bill and Ace and say thanks for everything. I'm sure you guys don't hear this often, but like a bad self help book promo, the Available Cupholders have changed my life. Seriouly though, you guys have helped me find a dream and a direction, and I thank you for that.
Well, I'm auditioning for Jet City Improv later this month, hopefully it works out, otherwise, back to the drawing board. Wish me luck, and good luck to you guys as well. Keep in touch.

There are entire portions of my physiology that have changed from 14 months ago.
For example, there is now 22.7% less Wes than 14 months ago and I'm maintaining the loss with great success.
In fact, beyond just losing weight, I'm actually adding tone and definition.
Down side is that my kilt belt is now way too large and too expensive to replace right now, but I think I like things better this way.
So, personal success.

Back in 2005 I organized a fitness challenge at work. I went from 225lbs (my peak weight) to 167lbs in the process of training for a marathon. I had lost nearly 60lbs from when I left home at Christmas time to when my parents visited me in August and they didn't even notice. That's when you realize that you do these things for yourself and how it makes you feel. If people don't notice when you lose a quarter of your body... that probably shouldn't be a part of your motivation for doing it.Wesley wrote:There are entire portions of my physiology that have changed from 14 months ago.

Anyway, two years later, I'm back at 200 but at 6'2" my target should really be 185. We're re-starting the challenge at work with seven people bought in at $100. Weigh in is tomorrow, actually.
