I will probably show up randomly on either Friday or Saturday and help as needed. I've done the past three fests and look forward to help, just don't know when I can at this point.

Whatever happened to my idea of having a crepe fest in late spring?

Screw crepe fest.

BACON FEST

Or...BEGGIN' FEST.

IMPROV FOR THE ANIMALS. Bring your pet and get a lump of Alpo. We do this out in the park.

BACON FEST

Improvisers don't know it's not real bacon!

I'm all for a festival built around improv and meat in whatever combinations we see fit. Bacon is, of course, my first choice, but Fajita Fest, Casino Burger Fest, BBQ Fest, and Domino's Thin crust with extra Pepperoni (and breakfast bacon) Fest are all likewise acceptible.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm all for meat fests of all kinds...and doing this with improv is making my mouth water for the succulent, savory, moist and salty turkey leg that I've always wanted to eat on stage but only in the proper context.

But what about our vegetarian friends. We have to think about them too don't we? Cornprov? Hunts Mixed Can of Veggies Fest? Brocoliprov? Soylent Greenprov?

Oh, sorry, I just drooled on myself thinking about that turkey grease sliding onto my tongue and traveling in the most delightful bolus down my throat and into tummy meat land...

Where was I...oh, yeah, Veggie Fest...

i think somebody already does bacon fest - dad's garage, maybe. that's where we got the idea for wafflefest as i understand it.

Fuck it, we're in Austin.
We want to accomodate vegetarians?
Fine.

Compromise.

Let it stand that I am the Great Compromiser of AIC.

BaconFest - feh!
VeggieFest - gross!
WaffleFest - been there, done that.

We must have

QUESOFEST!

Anyone who doesn't chase their own tail like pavolv's dog at the thought of QuesoFest must relinquish their Austin Resident status.

(I feel like we've had this exact conversation before)

NADINE=I CAN HELP IN WHATEVER CAPACITY ON FRIDAY NIGHT...ANY SLOTS...

KAREEM=Yes, we've had this converation, but I don't remember it all leading up to melted cheese goodness.

Let's have our own fest. Maybe a cage match fest as an ad-hoc team. We'll play as a troupe that thinks there is a queso fest going on and wondering where all the cheese went...

Wes, you can join too. I'll wear a suit of cheese slices!
