5 girls playing this week. That's super!eliz.rubywillmann wrote:Wow we have a ton of girls volunteering! Yay for diversifying improv.
I'm not sure what my Saturday night is looking like right now, but I'm going to try my best to see this show!

Mock? I would never do such a thing mr C.!
As for breakfast, normally I would happily do that. But this is my anniversary weekend, so my pampering efforts are directed to just one female existence around me.
Well, since all plans are failing, I guess they will have to settle with us making them look good on stage.

Thanks for a fun time last night, and thanks for being so supportive! As a beginner I sometimes fear that I'm throwing myself to the wolves when I volunteer to get on stage. That feeling will diminish with time I'm sure. I am grateful for the chance to play with such a fun, supportive and easy going group. ( :

That was a fun and super tight show. I was thrilled to jump in and help Marc co-direct. Like Marc said, it was a show where every game and scene set-up was played about as perfectly as it could've been.
Oh, and the book I had John read from for the Book Lines scene is The Automatic Detective by A. Lee Martinez. He's become one of my absolute favorite writers over the last couple of years. I highly recommend that people read his books, especially Gil's All Fright Diner, Monster, and Divine.
I love that I left quoting the Book Lines scene as well as others, and the line I remembered most from that scene was the last line John read from the book. Nice example of how it's more than just reading what's in front of you. Not an "invalid code".
