Guilds of Steel had a great time last night at The Lair!
It was so good, we just may need to retire the Sword of Distraction.

Man, with that Rogue's Gallery comic/gaming store 2 doors doown, I bet a regular Guilds of Steel show would kill at The Lair.

That would also explain the 'Comic Book Store' suggestion IFE got for our show... Nice!

Yeah, those were some fun shows, and the space is going to be completely awesome when they put the finishing touches on it. The audiences were very enthusiastic for the size, and everyone had a super good time. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Round Rock improv explosion pushes it all to the next level.

I especially like how close the audience is to the stage - it makes it very easy to tell what parts of the show really 'hit'.

Many thanks to everyone who performed last night. You can plan and plot and scheme all you like but you never really know how something will really work until the rubber hits the road. After watching four terrific performances, audience reaction to them and how the space seemed to function I'm confident that everything does indeed work. What a relief! I had big fun despite my opening night stress and exhaustion which says a lot about the quality of the talent who came out to support a complete unknown.
