SIGGRAPH members and fans,
Due to scheduling difficulties, we have decided to postpone the review
part of the Portfolio Posse until January. With this additional time,
we plan to be able to announce a confirmed panel of professionals to
our members well in advance.
However, we are still meeting this coming Wednesday night(11/17/10)
but as a catered (FREE FOOD) Meet-and-Greet, and portfolio "showcase"
where anyone can show off any work they'd like to share via a laptop
or the projection system.
When: 11/17
Time: 6-9pm
Where: USAA, United States Art Authority (next to Spiderhouse)
This Wednesday night event will be catered, and the drink specials are
still happening ($2 on all wells). We would like to encourage everyone
to come out to meet and socialize with other like-minded computer
graphics artists and friends. We will also be raffling off some cool
stuff for those who become a SIGGRAPH member.
