AIC Potluck 2010 - FOOD SIGN-UP

Post by bradisntclever »

Sign-up here with the dish you plan to bring to the potluck. Last year, we had approximately 100 attendees. While your dish doesn't need to feed all 100, try to avoid something that serves only 5-6 people.

Once we start getting replies, we can look into converting this into a Google spreadsheet.

EDIT: Please note if any of your dishes are vegan or vegetarian. Labeling them at the potluck itself will also be super helpful.

Trail Mix Pasta -- my dad dubbed my invention: Garden rotini, kidney beans, feta cheese, chopped olives, rotel, corn etc. Served cold.

I'm not expecting any special concessions in any of the dishes, but if you do happen to make something vegan or vegetarian, it would be wonderful to label it so when you bring it!

I will bring a huge pot of tom yum soup.

Seeing as more people prefer my cookies than my cakes, I'm bringing a plethora of cookies this year.

I'll bring a garbanzo butternut squash salad (vegan, no soy), and something(s) sweet. Not sure whether those'll be vegan, but they'll be no meat and TASTEEE

Can I bring a zillion different types of cupcakes? If not I'll bring some delicious Greek foods instead. c:

Meatballs stuffed with blue cheese. What provisions will there be for hot food? Should I bring a crock pot or something?

Post by Justin D. »

Here's what's what so far:

Trail Mix Pasta
Mashed sweet potatoes
Tom yum soup
Chicken stewish kind of thing or fried "chicken" tempeh
A plethora of cookies
Garbanzo butternut squash salad (vegan, no soy) and something(s) sweet
A zillion different types of cupcakes
Taco soup
Mac and Cheese
Meatballs stuffed with blue cheese

I'm probably going to bring rotisserie chicken salad.

Nothing so far in the way of traditional turkey or ham, and some more veggies would be great too.

Brad, are things set for drinks, plates, silverware, and napkins?

I'll bring a green salad. - It will be veggie; not sure what makes vegan. I was going to put in it:

iceberg lettuce
baby spinach leaves
avocado
red bell pepper
purple onion
Italian (oil and vinegar) dressing
