Dubbed Indemnity at The Hideout Tonight, 8pm!
Each year for the marathon, we've had a show that consists of improvisers dubbing over the dialog in various film and TV scenes. It's one of my personal favorite parts of the marathon every year (both as a performer and as an audience member.) We're finally bringing it back on a (hopefully) regular basis and tonight's the non-marathon debut!

Free for improvisers (as usual)
Seems the AIC's got movie fever tonight!

Doesn't there have to come a time in everyone's life when they should see a deadpan comedy about the yurt dwellers of Kazakhstan?

The person who does not read is often under the impression that he's being picked on by fate. A reader knows it's necessary because of the story line.

w00t -- I've put the show, with the cast dubbing, online here. It should be finished converting in an hour or so. It's behind a password ("dubbadubba") because of its questionable fair-use-ness.

I may disapprove of a movie for going too far, and yet have a sneaky regard for a movie that goes much, much farther than merely too far.

It rarely takes more than a page to recognize that you're in the presence of someone who can write, but it only takes a sentence to know you're dealing with someone who can't.
