Just picked up The Clash's Live at Shea album. It's a good recording of the band before they imploded.

I've made it my mission in life to see that the Songs: Ohia album 'Magnolia Electric Co.' gets the recognition it deserves.

Please enjoy:

Really looking forward to Arcade Fire's third album, comes out in August. I have an iTunes gift card sitting next to my computer. I'm that anxious.

I dreamt I heard the whole album last night, and it was completely indistinguishable from a Neil Young album. Something like Sleeps With Angels or Harvest. Haven't decided if this is a good or bad thing yet. ( I love Neil Young! )

Mark, YESS!!!!!! That was incredible!

He created all those sounds with one instrument and some looping. How fucking cool and inspirational.

I'm currently working on a compilation called "Spaz's Best Music You Never Heard Of", inspired by discovering this jaw-droppingly amazing song by Phoneheads, a drum and bass group with a twist: they're being backed up by a 30+ piece orchestra, not to mention they've got a live drummer (DnB artists tend to use electronic drums for their complex rhythms) and one kickass singer (the smoothness kicks in at 2:40).

I began watching but the twist took me aback and I just couldn't seem to recover.

[EDIT]
Video above no longer works, but here's a link to Sub Pop's sound cloud of the song.
