If you've not seen a PIP show yet, or a ComedySportz show yet, NOW IS THE TIME!! And you get to see them in ONE SHOW!!!
This Friday, 7:30pm @ Cafe Caffeine, the puppeteers from the "Puppet Improv Project" take on the "ComedySportz - Austin" players in a special fast-paced, family-friendly, head-to-head match to see which team will win the audience's laughs. The two teams will take turns making up scenes, playing games and singing songs – and the audience votes on which team they like the best. It's all presided over by a referee, who keeps things moving, calls the ComedySportz fouls and takes suggestions shouted out by the audience before each game.
If you've seen TV's Whose Line Is It Anyway? you've got the basic idea, although ComedySportz's two-team competitive format ensures a fast-paced, high-energy show - and seeing this live show is very different from watching a TV show.
