You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live

(I actually had an internal debate about choosing him, Green Lantern, or Flash. Geek. Duh.)
They're talking about the Jewish Spiderman.the_reverend wrote:sigh...it's Spider-Man, y'all. not Spiderman. grammar matters!

Even James Gunn knows about him.

He can team up with Jewish Wolverine.

There's probably real money in this for somebody who can skirt the licensing rights issue. This is apparently in high demand.
I'm actually dressing up as Spider-man (is that better?) this weekend for my nephews birthday party.
I don't know why or what happened, but Spider-man is HUGE amongst the 3-5 year olds these days.
My nephew runs around shooting pretend webs and singing Spider-man songs all the time.

Ah Andy, your mind is always right in the gutter
No. Often people have a vague idea of what they want, but they don't say it, they just say "perform" or some other wide meaning word like that. So, if you don't ask you get into the situation where you are expecting one thing (walk around and talk to the kids, eat bad birthday cake and leave) where she is expecting another (tell the story of your latest adventure, perform a few magic tricks and do a few simple gymnastic feats, wow the kids with your spider-magnatism and transform the party into a Marvel-esque fantasy world.) When you show up she'll ask you to begin and you won't really know what to do, then her eyes will fill with tears and the kids will look at you like a monster....
Just, you know, hypothetically....
So, it is always good to get expectations clear before you start.
(BTW- $50 is okay if they are providing the costume - if not you should charge $75-$100 - don't undercut the professionals!)
