Hey, before you complain too much about that - remember what it was like to be 14 and get, um, aroused for no good reason at all about every 15 minutes. Then take a moment to be thankful that doesn't happen any more.

i had the benefit of being awful at math, so it was an even wash either way. i also worked out a system for occasions where i had to...i won't go into too much detail, but my wrist, my waistband and starting to wear my shirts untucked saved the day on more than one occasion. and i still wear my shirts untucked to this very day...

Damn, that takes me back (and is funny as hell).

Unfortunately, my Catholic H.S. would not allow un-tucked shirts. However, with some artful angling and careful movement the waistband trick could still be applied. Belts were indispensable.

Brockman, Roy, and Erin, thank you for your advice. It's MOST helpful. I think I'll ASSUME it is the girls version of the boys name and give him/her a slot. IN ADDITION, I will send out an email like roy suggested...then when they get there...i'll make them drop their pants. even if their gender is clear when I see them. It will be awkward, but their reaction will weigh in on if they get cast or not.
