Hey all,
Girls Girls Girls improv is having auditions for a couple new members.
GGG does narrative style musical improv shows. Singing, dancing, and improv all combined into a big delicious pile of fun.

They will be October 17 from 5-7 pm at Salvage Vanguard theatre:
2803 Manor Rd
Austin, TX 78722-1711

please email me if you're interested and I'll answer any questions and schedule you in.

I'm actually really curious who will go out for it, and who will get in. I wonder if we'll have any rogue wildcards from the outside world again, or if some of the ladies from Sarah 7 will take the leap, or, or or...

Then instead of having a "Boys of Summer" run. Y'all could have a run where you invite a lady improvisor to be your "Playmate of the Week"?

Totally non-sexist.

Ha! oh you men....

though I guess I should specify that it is a troupe for ladies...not everyone knows. Silly of me to assume. thought the name may give it away.

as it is I've had a few from the outside world contact me through the posting on craigs list...Including someone named Marcelle....which strikes me as a boys name.... anyone have any imput on that? I did mention that GGG was a "fun group of ladies" but didn't specify that it's just women. so i'm not sure what to say to this "marcelle. Should I just be that person and say "hey, are you a girl or a boy? cause I can't tell"?

either way...I'm totally auditioning for Dudes Dudes Dudes.

Incidentally, Kacey. I believe Marcelle is the feminine form of the (generally) masculine name Marcel (der. Lat. Marcellus). So you're probably dealing with a girl there.

The best, most passive-aggressivist way I've found to deal with these situations is to BCC them and then pretend like you're sending out an email to a large number of people:

"Hey GGG Auditioners,

Thanks for wanting to be a part of GGG. Just to make sure that we don't waste your time, here's a list of requirements for being in GGG:

* Be female (duh)
* own or be willing to purchase pink/black clothing (white accents optional)
* be willing to rehearse once a week...
"

etc, etc...
