No, the Hideout's not closing any time soon. The lease goes through spring of 2009. We've got three more years.

Wait, what??? I thought the lease was up in a year and a half? I'm not trying to start gossip, but I was near positive about this. Did the lease get extended or renewed recently?

So, we should start a committee now to figure out what we're going to do, is what you're saying.

It's not a matter of fragile egos, it's just unprofessional. It's not even that you made a joke to your friends, or even said that to your friends, it's that you said that within earshot of ten other paying customers.

Also, your friends had just purchased tickets to see the upstairs show, and convincing them not to see it was a little tacky.

I'm not trying to rag on you. Lord knows I've probably done way worse. But that's why I said something right then and there.

Case closed. Moving on. Nothing to see here. It wasn't a big deal at all and I feel it is in danger of getting blown way out of proportion.

Nope. Your previous information was gossip. : )

The lease started in 1999 and was for ten years. We have the option to renew in spring of 2009.

And yes, we should form a committee now to figure out what we're going to do.

Also, just to add, in defense of Tami, she wasn't making a personal attack, but rather a statement of fact.

A personal attack would be something like, "Michael Jastroch is amoral fuckwad."

Another example: Bill O'Reilly sites the "Paris Business Review" in reference to the effectiveness of his France boycott. "The Paris Business Review" doesn't exist, and when people call him out on it he refers to them as "smear merchants."

It probably wasn't the most tactful way of going about it, but no one's trying to pile on top of you or question your dedication to the cause. Everyone hearts Phil.

I have only observed sunshine and light from you, Tami. But I'm okay if that's all an act. I'll probably like you anyway.

I'm calling this shit out now. Learn to take direction. There is no freeze when the scene is over, Jast motherfucking roch. I will reach through this wall with one of Mike's guns and shoot that motherfucking kitten in his stupid adorable face then rape her A BAKER'S DOZEN  times while squeezing Arthur's dick at 4.8 pounds per square inch until it explodes in your face and blows your eye out through the back of your head and then Lincoln and Elway will combine for 378 yards up your asshole and I will leave my calling card that reads "This Isn't What you Think."

Now THAT'S the perfect scene.
