Rat Race

Post by shksprtx »

No, I'm not talking about the crappy film starring Jon Lovitz...

This is a scavenger-hunt type of game being organized this Saturday by an old friend (a former Corpus Christi improvisor type of friend) of mine...

I'd like to enter, but they frown on one-man teams, so I must humble myself before the awesome might of the AIC and ask if anyone is interested and available.

PM me, and I can get you details as soon as possible...

I love scavenger hunts, but there's no way I can do it this Saturday.

I would, however, like to speak up in defense of Rat Race. It's one of my all-time favorite movies, written by one of my favorite writers, Andy Breckman.

and it ends with Smashmouth singing "All Star", as all movies should.

You just killed me a little, Roy.
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

I have to come to Roy's defense that Rat Race is a much funnier movie than most people give it credit for. A modern ensemble movie in the tradition of It's Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and so many others. Plus, it ends with SMASHMOUTH! w00t!

The scene where the family ends up driving Hitler's car is absolutely hilarious.
