As part of the Rocket Surgery interview show with Kevin McDonald during OOB, I'm hoping we can open it up to questions from the audience, but as I'm writing the questions right now for the main part of the show, I'm wondering if anyone has anything they'd like me to ask.

All the cast members of KITH seem to write and designate each other numerous roles, male or female, with little or no dispute. But honestly, was there ever a role that people were willing to fight over? Explain the process.

how does writing a more traditional anthology style sketch show like the original Kids in the Hall differ from writing something more episodic like Death Comes to Town (or a screenplay like Brain Candy)? do you have a preference?

* What's the difference between performing sketch comedy for the stage and performing it for the camera? Other than the soul-stealing, of course.

* Why have there been so many bad parody movies, why do they make money, and why can't they pay good writers? I.e., you?

Everybody knows you end a sketch by segueing into the next! But now that I'm thinking about it.... That's one thing KITH focused on more than Mr. Show, The State, and even Monty Python. They fleshed out their sketches and let them "end."

I know, I know. There are tons of exceptions. But I'm thinking about the sketches they performed that were cinematic or character driven ie: "Monkeys Loose", "Sausages", "Fur Trappers", "Bass Player", Scott's "Buddy Cole" character...

all the memorable sketches I'm recalling let the story breathe & don't immediately transition to the next punchline. I find this truly fulfilling, and in a way... less desperate.
