Improv at the Carousel Lounge tonight with PGraph and Terp?

Post by Roy Janik »

Ordinarily PGraph does improv at the Carousel Lounge on the first Tuesday of every month. Since the 1st Tuesday of July was the 4th and we were all too busy blowing shit up, we've been rescheduled for tonight.

Come out and support improv in non-Hideout locations. Things of note:

* Chris Trew, Jerm Pollet & The Total Foxes, Mo Pair, and Dum Dum and the Smartees will all be performing.
* It's free.
* They sell beer, but you're welcome to bring your own liquor, if that's your cup of tea.
* The show starts around 9:30pm.
* There will be some Family Feud played at the end of it all.

The last few times there has been a strong showing of improvisers, and it's been really fun. Let's do it again.

The Carousel Lounge is located at 1110 E 52nd St, Austin, TX, and yes, it's circus themed.

I'll be there!

Last time I talked to Jerm, he mentioned something about continuing the Caraoke tradition, as well. I dunno if that's in place of the Feud, or in addition to it, but whichever way, I'm fer it. See y'all there...

Show tonight was...interesting.
I restrained myself from breaking a bottle across the face of a belligerent drunk. Weeeeeeee!

Thanks, as always, to everyone who came out to support that mess.

That dude was a total jackass and I would have supported any and all bottle breaking activities. What a fucking tool.

I was sitting within bottle-breaking range of that asshat and very seriously considered wasting a perfectly good beer on him...

Yeah, you win some, you lose some.

It's weird that there seems to be no real middle ground in barprov. at least so far.

Not much. There was just a drunken asshat yelling stuff during our set. The ukulele scene still went well.

From a distance, it looked like you later attempted to snap his spine via man-hug. The SCREAMING!
