Hideout/OoB Appreciation Day - August 4 & 5
We're declaring August 4 & 5 HIDEOUT APPRECIATION WEEKEND: PART 2.
We'll be concentrating on the downstairs space, getting it gussied up for Out of Bounds. And we'll be working on the box office and front space, so that anyone who walks by the Hideout day or night knows that improv happens there, anyone who walks into the Hideout can figure out how and where to buy a ticket, that they can take classes, etc. We'll also do some nicing up the upstairs space, which is a little dirty again. We will trick out the upstairs light booth so the computer is organized, with cool music and playlists and videos and everything has instructions and easy to use in general.
What do you think we should work on on August 4 & 5?

hrmmm.
we may want to coordinate this for a little farther out (and when people can clear their schedules).
as it stands now, bob and i will not be able to help - we will be in New Braunfels visiting my dad.
just my plink plink.

FWIW, it'd be cool if people identified the pet projects they want to work on so we know what tools, materials, & people we need and so 12 people aren't fighting over a one-person job.
I posted a quick wish-list on the wiki at http://wiki.austinimprov.com/index.php/ ... ayProjects Please add to it.
Regardless of when we decide to do it, it'd be nice to know which projects we have the budget, people, and motivation to accomplish.
Booyah.

yes. i will be out of town that weekend but we will have a techie in place to help you run a tech rehearsal.kbadr wrote:Can we still have access to the downstairs theatre to run tech for OoB sketch shows that weekend?
also, since i will be out of town, is it possible to do the HO appreciation the weekend before? i don't mean to be picky but that might be cutting it a little close, specially since i want to do some scenery and some painting for the oob. if not, that's cool.
