Handin' out the MAD PROPS!!!

Post by improvstitute »

I just wanted to give a well deserved pat on the back to my fellow improvisors in Pussycake. I was very proud to be part of last night's cagematch even though we lost. So...here are some specifics...

Jill - for taking on the hosting duties since she never hosts a Foolish Mortals show. You were hilarious!

Andrea - for getting all of the supplies for pies, etc. and for letting me draw on your butt and crotch.

Chris for having the balls to dress like a tranny crack whore...but play it straight. It paid off big time for the audience.

Troy for slaving over his audio equipment so that the audience could hear Tom Jones' latest hit "What's New Pussy-CAKE" and for making and putting out flyers.

That was the most fun I have had in a long time and I am sad we had such a short run. But, have no fear! Pussycake shall live to see another day in the cagematch (after OOB).

Congrats to GLOP (Gorgeous Ladies Of Prison) for putting on a very entertaining show. In particular, I thought Jen was fantastic as The Warden. It was very funny and fun to watch all of you play such strong characters. Freeze tag was fun as well...lots of playfulness. The brashness of the girls against the cheesey goodness of Pussycake was CLASSIC. Oh...and Jill's shirt got ripped off. That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Jill's reaction was priceless!!!

Great fun everbody!!!

i wasn't able to see the threefer but i understand it was amazing. i thought that the double barrel show was good as well and the cagematch was scream out loud funny. my throat hurts i laughed so damn hard.
and there were decent audiences for every show. a fantastic night of improv all around. that is the kind of evening that will explode word of mouth and swell our audience numbers.

well done, AIC.
well done.

That cage match was fantastic. If we could make that happen on a regular basis, the cage match would sell out every goddam night.

And if nothing else, it really raised the bar for the rest of the OoB cagematches.

here is a suggestion to make the cagematch that good...high stakes for the teams. It was that good because both teams really wanted to win a slot in OOB. So...how about making the stakes for every show be the house draw for that night (minus the cut for The Hideout). Winner takes all the money from the door. The loser takes it in the ass.

Just a thought!

Last night was great improv top to bottom, soup to nuts, head to toe. I think it was my favorite improv night of my whole life. I'm still riding the crest of happiness. Thank you all.

I'm so happy to have been a part of Friday night's shows. Great improv and solid shows all around. I'm really excited about future Double Barrel hosting and branding...we got more surprises up our boots.
God, that cagematch was deliciously refreshing, dare I say, theraputic.
