What is Y2K, and how could it be the end of life on Earth? Some of my lady friends at the ice cream social were talking about Y2K, and how bad it might be. They asked my opinion, and I said, "it sounds terrible"; although, I really didn't have a clue what they were talking about about. Is that what they are calling the swine flu now?

Twice bitten.
It doesn't read like a spambot to me though. There's no pitch stated or implied. It reads like a not-so-bright, lonely person. Or maybe a senior citizen (see "ice cream social"). And it's on a forum, not in my e-mail inbox where it be dealt with ruthlessly.
The spambot has nothing to gain except eating up 30 seconds of my time.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I can explain what "crutina" stands to gain here?
