They call him the man in black, but he's got a black shirt and white pants. Jacob is vice versa. Obviously neither one is pure good/evil. Also Esau said the same thing about Jacob (kill him, don't let him talk to you) that whatsisface said to sayid about Locke.

I think his name was Dogen. Not a huge fan of his character.

Excellent point. Also, I don't remember exactly what Jacob said to Alpert, but it was some big asshole thing like, "I'm bringing people to the island to show [Esau] that he's wrong." What a jerk. Esau's already miserable enough.

Reading this, I thought they would be great island caretakers (if that is a real job). Then I wondered if they were on any of the lists (I don't think so). Then I thought of Loki & Bartelby from Dogma.

Okay, fine, there'll be a guest role for Kristen Bell on Ford and Straume as the fiesty L. A. Times reporter who causes trouble while gathering info about their cases.

If that turns out to be true, then no matter how they end this thing it would all be worth it.

What if dogs really do dream like that?

Is there any way that the KWON listed on the cave wall might be Sun and Jin's baby?

Probably not...just thinking...

doubtful, there'd have to be last-minute teleporter beam to get the baby to the island. it's back in America, probably starved to death by now anyway

it's all been a byzantine power struggle between Vincent and Joop the orangutan...
