Ginny's Free Poster Give Away is GONE

Post by SarahMarie »

Sad news was discovered today. I have an inside man at Ginny's Printing Company and at the end of March, they will no longer offer their free poster printing service.

:(

Times are tough I guess. So get em while the getting is still good! When March is over, no more free posters.

I shed a single tear.

(PS, if the AIC was looking for something to spend money on to promote improv, I think it just found it)

Indeed. and just LAST month I was told that it would never end... But apparently the well has run dry and Ginny's is trying to cut cost where they can so they don't have to cut employee's.

Personally, I wish there was some way we could thank them for all the free stuff we DID manage to get. It was totally awesome while it lasted.

TO THE POWERS THAT BE AT THE AIC

Michael Martin is the owner of Ginny's and he is also the man who created the free poster campaign they had. It might be in your best interest to call and discuss with him the amount of posters our community does (or did, or would like to do) and petition him for a special AIC deal.

I'm not sure if you would at all be interested, but that would be the man to call. If we could figure out a way to distinguish AIC posters, and maybe do an in-kind trade agreement, maybe we could work on getting them as close to cost as possible (which was $4.00 [!!!] btw).

I really feel that, as a combined force, the AIC and all it's postering needs could be a dynamic powerhouse of marketing potential for whatever company would like to take us on.

Just a thought!
