Not my event, but I support the "Sherwood Forest Faire" and I'm pretty sure there are some imps in the cast!
Anyone want to go with me and a few puppets on Opening Weekend?

Sherwood Forest Faire Launches Inaugural Season
Every weekend from Feb. 27 through April 4, 2010
More than 50,000 people expected to partake in the merriment
106 acres of Central Texas forest transformed into 12 th Century England
PAIGE, Texas -- Dec. 31, 2009 -- Sherwood Forest Faire, the enchanted forest of merriment, magic, and medieval magnificence today announced its inaugural 2010 season every weekend from Feb.. 27 through April 4, 2010.
The Faire is situated on 106-forested acres in Central Texas. Located 35 miles east of Austin, Texas on U.S. 290, The Sherwood Forest Faire is between the towns of McDade and Paige, near the junction of U.S. 290 and Texas State Highway 21, within easy striking distance of Austin, San Antonio, and Houston
The Faire is being organized by renaissance fair veterans Eric Todd and George Appling. Todd and Appling have more than 50 years combined involvement in renaissance festivals.
“We are excited to launch the inaugural season of the Sherwood Forest Fair,” said George Appling, co-founder of the Sherwood Forest Faire. “San Antonio is the largest city in the United States currently not served by a major renaissance festival. Instead, people must travel hundreds of miles on a pilgrimage for the renaissance experience.
“The heavily-wooded land lends itself to the 12 th century experience, and is being transformed into medieval times,” said Appling.
The Faire will feature gallant men and fair maidens, harking back to 12 th Century England, during the time of Richard the Lionhearted, Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck and The Crusades and the dastardly Sherriff of Nottingham.
