I just assumed she's "the new Rousseau" as in she went nuts cuz a dingo ate her baby.

either way, it's clear she's supposed to be "a Rousseau" (if not "the Rousseau")

Has anyone in this thread ever mentioned the "Hurley Bird"? The Hurley Bird was in the first and second season finales. It's a large bird that whispers Hurley's name. That's weird. I hope the final season explains the Hurley Bird.

I also want to know more about The Hanso Foundation. It was this company run by an eccentric billionaire named Alvar Hanso, and it funded the Dharma Initiative, and back in season two, there was a Hanso Foundation commercial during an episode of LOST:

And because I'm feeling extra nerdy, here's a video with Alvar Hanso talking:

I wouldn't expect many answers aside from all of the stuff revealed that summer during the Lost Experience ARG. You can find the history of it if you search around some. All the Lost ARGs are pretty crazy if you haven't delved into them. They don't typically spoil stuff as much as provide additional background information on other questions.

Yeah, I uh... I've delved. Plenty. Just, I want to see that stuff integrated directly into the broadcast narrative.

But way more than I want that, I want some Hurley Bird.

I assumed that was the case, but the conclusion I drew from all of those games is that the material very rarely finds its way back into the show. Many of those questions are now considered "answered"/irrelevant, even if they still seem completely unanswered.

There were six names on the cave wall. Sayid's last name, Shepherd, Reyes, Kwon, Ford and Locke.

No Kate. repeat. No Kate.

Hmmm....
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

What concerns me is that snark functions as a device to punish human spontaneity, eccentricity, non-conformity and simple error. Everyone is being snarked into line.

Did Jacob actually make physical contact with Kate? Can't remember. But I guess the fact that he was even with her makes her important for some reason. but we now have (the) six numbers and a name assigned to each.

Yep, he paid for her boyz 2 men (?) lunchbox she was shoplifting. Confused me why her name wasn't there either.

Unless it could only be a male and then Kwon is Jin

So this has been bugging me. When the gang first arrived at the temple, some woman identified them as having been on "the other plane" or something like that? Who was she?

Weren't there some people kidnapped pretty early on in the first season? Might be one of them.

The List in the cave explains why Sun didn't go back in time with everyone else. She's actually as much of an innocent victim of happenstance in all this as most of the other people on the plane who aren't on The List or somehow directly related to the island. Her only connection is Jin.

It was great seeing Katie Sagal back as Helen. I loved seeing all the connections to Locke in the flashsideways, especially Ben as a European history teacher. You so know he's going to end up as Locke's best man.

The fact that Kate's name is absent from the cave makes me suspicious and anxious to think that she may end up being Jacob's replacement just because she's the only name not on The List. Jacob may have created The List itself solely to fool Esau, which is why he left Kate's name off the cave walls.
