Ok it looks like already 700 people have signed up, but if you have a spot for one who hasn't played in awhile, I'd love to return to the Maestro stage.

So I will be directing this week's Maestro with Matt P. co-directing

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I'm going to want to do some theme-related scenes. Some ruminations on love. Maybe some surprises like I did with the Christmas themed show.

A couple of things I would like to definitely see is a more balanced mix of gender than usual. There are a lot of guys always signing up for Maestro, but where are all the ladies? All the single ladies, all the single ladies,....

Speaking of which, I would also like to do some song stuff. Daniel can you bring a guitar with you to the show?

There's a decent black acoustic in the green room that Jon Bolden donated to The Hideout.

Someone (sorry, don't remember who) busted out a guitar from backstage during the last show after a scene. In my foolishness, I didn't think to use it in a later scene. Anyway, it's there backstage, but it's not black.

There's another one in the green room in a black softcase. You're welcome to it. I only brought it in because it's a steel string and it holds it's tune much better (also is louder).

Yeah, I remember that - I think it was Daniel, and I actually wrote down "GUITAR" and underlined it in my notebook, and then promptly completely forgot about it. Next time.

since i wound up playing in the previous show and had a blast, if there are concerns of balance or anything, i'm willing to sit out (though i'll most likely still come and watch!).

Looks like my friend coming into town is canceling so I'm free again if it's not too full yet.
