So is Pgraph going to stop playing thursdays at CTT? That's what this means? That's what I immediately thought it was announcing when I read it a few days ago but then it seemed like nobody was reacting or talking about it so I figured it was just a joke or something. Though I guess it makes sense for Pgraph not to be competing with their own theatre's show, now that they own it. Like to be fair CT hasn't played the Hideout anything near as frequent as weekly. Perhaps this vacant slot will create an opportunity for more Hideout troupes to play CTT. I wonder whether Pgraph would continue doing shows at CT on a semi regular basis or what, and if they are going to be anchoring the Threefer thursdays, like a two-fer plus Pgraph. Or play a different night and then shift that show over to thursday to create a 10pm show.

Just so I'm clear, you compared PGraph moving venues to EVERYONE DYING.
EDIT: In retrospect, this seems like a dick thing to say. I won't delete it, but will acknowledge here that it indeed seemed dickish.

I'm sad that P'graph is leaving ColdTowne and excited for the opportunities that it will create at the Hideout. But I do want to be clear about one thing; P'graph does not own the Hideout, nor is the Hideout primarily a venue for P'graph. Two of the P'graph members are owners and another member is on the management team, that creates some great opportunities. But the Hideout has a wealth of talented and wonderful people involved and could not run with all the amazing imps that are a part of our community.Dru Down wrote:. Ohhhhhhhh, gotcha. In any case, I agree with Drew/Jessica's agreement that it's a good opportunity to expand the Hideout's...uh...programming schedule? Probably not the right term, but you get the idea.kaci_beeler wrote:Jastroch has been saying this every Thursday before our show for awhile,

There'll be an official announcement soon, but as there seems to be speculation running rampant, I wanted to clarify a few things:
PGraph has chosen to end their run at ColdTowne for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is to spend more time developing programing at the HideOut.
Arthur, Justin and I are, of course, very, very sad to see them go. Though, having been doing a weekly show of our own for the last three years in addition to running a venue, we aren't too surprised. In fact, one of the reasons you don't see us around at other venues too much is that we're too f'ing busy to comit to anything other than our Saturday night slots.
PGraph has been an integral part of our theater (and various other projects) since the beginning, since even before there were "ColdTowne" or "HideOut" troupes. They were the first (and among the very best) people I met in Austin. We're sad, but excited to see what they have in store next.
We don't know how we're going to deal with the gaping hole Pgraph is leaving in our schedule, but (tentatively) we will be adding a 9pm slot and expanding some of our sketch and improv programming. In addition, PGraph will still perform at ColdTowne on a monthly basis on Saturday nights.
Of course, regardless of whether or not PGraph is playing, if you're a performer, you get in free to ColdTowne. Please feel free to keep coming out (Bolden). You are always welcome.
Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that I should get full credit for PGraph's meteoric rise to improv stardom. Without my hosting, no one would know how to laugh for them.

Also, since there's been other speculation, I feel like I should also clarify the following:
There'll be an official announcement soon, but as there seems to be speculation running rampant, I wanted to clarify a few things:
I have chosen to end my run of not getting laid for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is to spend more time getting laid at various venues around Austin.
Arthur and Justin are, of course, very, very sad to see me get laid. Though, having been not getting laid on a weekly basis for the last three years in addition to running a venue, I am not too surprised that I am now planning on getting laid. In fact, one of the reasons you don't see me getting laid too much is that I'm too f'ing busy to make a big show of me not getting laid.
Me not getting laid has been an integral part of my life (and various other projects) since the beginning, since even before I lived in Austin. It is, I'd say, my finest quality. I'm sad, but excited to see what getting laid is like.
I don't know how I'm going to deal with the gaping hole , but (tentatively) I will be looking forward to some cuddling and an expanded crotchal region. In addition, I will still perform my live sex show on a monthly basis on Saturday nights.
Of course, regardless of whether or not I am getting laid, if you're a performer, you can lay with me for free at any time. Please feel free to keep cuming (Bolden). You're welcome.
Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that I should get full credit for PGraph's weiners meteoric rise to erection. Without my boners, no one would know how to bone.

I hope P-Graph will have a big last-Coldtowne-show party/show so I can give them big high-fives in the hallway.

I don't know how to put this Lance, cause you seem really excited, but we're replacing Midnight Society with Leno.
