Sunday Open Jam @ 8:30

Post by dirty baby »

Novices, students, and ragged improv veterans of every stripe are encouraged to further their improv-u-cation every Sunday night at Coldtowne Theater (8:30pm). This season the Jam provides two preliminary pep rally performances by Escape Hatch & Murphy who will also host the jam.

Student: I'm talking to you. Come to the jam. Stage time in this nasty world is scarce. Your improv will improve. No harm, no foul. It's fun, and we'll love on you just like Nana used ta.

Every Sunday at Coldtowne: 8:30pm

I'm going to be there. In addition we'll also have our friends Escape Hatch bringing down the house.

Last week's jam resulted in a bizarre deconstruction of sexual activity as well as a compelling diatribe on both Death and Religion.

Let's hope this week will be as informative/interesting.

Thanks to all who came out! We not only had local performers and ColdTowne sudents but a couple of people that had never performed, or even seen improv, stay and play.

And we were at capacity during the show.

Great time.

Being an old Austinite, it sure is awesome to see how far the improv community has come.
