Post by Elizabeth »

Hi I'm Liz Bigger. I am from New Orleans, La. I graduated from Northwestern State with a degree Theatre
with a concentration in Performance and Directing;May 2009. I moved to Austin in august. I have an internship at Salvage Vanguard Theater under direction of Jenny Larson.
My improv experience includes; four year member of Out on a Limb Improv troupe at NSU under direction of Scott Burrell; they attended the Out of Bounds Festival this year. Interned at the Micheal Chekhov Association International Festival and Conference at Rutgers University where I attended Clown Improv under direction of Leonard Petit.
In Austin I have performed a Maestro! at The Hideout; thanks to Roy Janik for recommending me. Also thanks to Chris for telling me this Introduction forum exists. I love Improv, Chekhov work, singing, dancing and the plays of Charles Mee. I have a Black Lab named Francis. I tell jokes. Mardi Gras is my favorite time of year.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Austin Improv. I think you'll also find that Austin is an extremely dog friend city. So we welcome not only you but your lovely dog as well.

Welcome Liz! Didn't realize you'd already played in a Maestro. Let us know
if you have any questions about anything. It's a real fun group we got in this city!

Hey Liz.

Welcome to Austin, and welcome to the Austin Improv Collective!! Check out the improv shows at CTT (Coldtowne Theater), SVT (Salvage Vanguard Theater), Hideout, New Movement, and Cafe Caffeine! My name is Sara Farr, and I play in Comedy Sportz @ Cafe Caffeine; I also play in an occasional Maestro @ the Hideout. I'm the invisible "Third Man" in the 2-man troupe, Get Up, and I do improvised scoring for all their shows. I do improv scoring for an occasional Gnap! Theater Projects show at SVT, as well as other events around Austin.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I love PUPPET IMPROV!!!

Hope I get to meet you face to face soon. & Happy New Year!

~Sara
