My favorite Gong Show act
Sometimes it's a form of love just to talk to somebody that you have nothing in common with and still be fascinated by their presence.

Kareem, Kareem, Kareem...
I kiss your cheek for this. I never knew they were on this show. And I love their whole act.
However, I still get floored by Peggy Guy. I still fall on the floor and watch this at least
eight times every time I go back to it. Seriously. It's the idea, the execution and how
frickin' real the whole thing is...by just one middle-aged gal. Molly Shannon, eat
your heart out.

Oingo Boingo had quite the "weird performance art" phase before Danny Elfman's brother left the group and Danny eventually decided to make OB into an actual band.kbadr wrote:I need to investigate them further.
I would kill to see them do a live show, but a lot of the band members are suffering from "irreversible hearing loss" and fear that live shows will further the problem.

The same. Also appeared in A Hard Day's Night, I believe, and they are the source for the name of the band Deathcab for Cutie.HerrHerr wrote:Wait! That's the group that played on Do Not Adjust your Set. I have advd of that show. Those freaks are freaks!
I will make you a CD. You will likely love them. Pure madness.
