Gnap! Theater Projects announces 2010 prime time season

Post by shando »

Hey folks,

Gnap! is really excited that we've put together a complete season of prime time shows for all of 2010. Each of these shows will play on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm over the dates of the run in the studio theater at SVT.

January 22--February 13

One More Night--Improvised stories in the style of tales from the Arabian Nights. Directed by Audrey Sansom

February 19/21

Gnap!/Merlin Works 2 year anniversary weekend of programming at SVT--we'll be doing a party weekend, and we're bringing down Splendid Things from the Twin Cities to play with us.

February 26--March 13

An improvised show directed by Michael Joplin about all things mafia--think Godfather, GoodFellas, Sopranos. More about the format will be announced soon.

March 26--April 17

Apocalypse--An improvised show directed by Brandon Salinas in the vein of Mad Max, the Road Warrior, and other post-apocalyptic wastelands.

May 21--June 12

69 Love Songs--a scripted adaptation of the classic Magnetic Fields triple album from 1999. Conceived by Kerri Lendo and Patton Quinn

July 16--July 31

Guilds of Steel remount!!

August 6--August 21

Crack!--improv puppet musical, brought to you by the mind of Sara Farr.

August 27/28

Back to school get down party weekend, maybe with some extra special guest visitors?

September 10--October 2

Just Like the Rodeo 2--A festival of odds and ends and experiments.

October 22--November 20

Dusk remount!!!!!!

December 3--18

Holiday Show TBA

These dates may be subject to slight change, but they are pretty well set with the calendar at SVT. We also reserve the right to swap something out later in the year, but we're pretty sure this is what we're doing, and we're already planning shows for 2011. Thanks for your support!

Me too! I'm obsessed with organization and planning. Though you wouldn't be able to tell it from my room...
