I am happy to have lowered my score by not being an asshole who's snobby about shortform and also thinks most improv groups suck.

Yaaaaaaaaaaay!

In the last year or so, my score has increased from ten million percent to ten million billion percent! I feel like I've really come a long way.

I'm with you on that, Jill. I don't understand why it has to stick in those negative jabs, assuming every real improv geek is a hater.

I would love to see what the Austin-specific quiz looks like. I bet it would be uplifting in and of itself.

28.something - Improv Geektacular

Thought it would be interesting to see if a improv musician would even register on this. Hmmm... maybe not.

I must say, tho'. I avoided answering entirely truthfully based on what others here have posted. I've seen a good bit of improv now - and some of it has been godawful. Maybe not a majority - but I could name a festival or two that have left me cringing.

Of course, none of that applies to any Austin troupes. :)

Sometimes I wonder if one could set up an improv performance rating scale based on the number of times the word "uh..." is used (unless the "uh" is apropos of the character/moment).

I got an even 25%. I figure that's not bad for a year. We'll see where I am in a few months.

The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.

Since I have a birthday in a few weeks, I'll use that as the reminder/timeline to check up on this thing each year.

Year One (2011) 36.81818% Improv Geekarific!
