I have a sweet sweet puppy who stays at my office and desperatly needs to get out and play. Christa Lou and I are going to have a:

DOG DAY AFTERNOON
Saturday, November 21st from 11am to 2pm (or when the pups get tired)

You are invited! We're not sure which dog park we're going to yet, but I'll post as soon as we decide. All people with playful pups and people who enjoy watching playful pups play are invited!

My puppy, Miss Penelope, is very playful, too, but doesn't like to play with other dogs. I can't imagine why.

aww - this sounds nice! i would say yes, but:
1. one of my pups is really slow, and likes to pull the hair of other pups.
2. my other pup is very big, and thinks chasing small dogs (and rolling them) is awesome. consequently, small dogs are not a fan of this.

that said! may i make a suggestion that you NOT convene at red bud for this? looking at the dogs that have confirmed so far, you probably don't want to take them to an off-leash dog park with larger dogs. although i have never seen anything happen to smaller dogs there, i have heard scary stories and would hate to have anything happen to your lovely doggles. some of the larger, hunting breeds mistake the smaller dogs for prey.

the riverside park is a little more geared to small dogs and even has a small dog only area if needed.

Wow, Tuesday may wind up being the largest dog in attendance... that's... not right.

NO, Duffy is bigger than Tuesday. Not by much, but he is bigger.

Looks like we might be rained out! Don't worry, we'll have another afternoon when the weather's not being a jerk.
