Charles Dickens Unleashed Opens This Saturday!

Looking for something out of the ordinary and outrageously entertaining to do this Holiday season?
Starting on November 7th, The Hideout Theatre presents Charles Dickens Unleashed: Improvised Tales of Bleak Victorian England. In this exciting new show, the talented cast of the Hideout Theatre presents a fully improvised play set in the dark Victorian underworld. See slimy criminals, wide-eyed orphans, and saucy boot-blackers navigate their way through the corrupt London social strata.
Will good triumph over evil? Maybe...or maybe not, love.

Saturdays at 8pm in November and December.
**HOLIDAY SPECIAL** Improv for the whole family! There are also family-friendly shows (PG-13) on Saturdays at 6pm in December! Bring your kids! Tell your friends with families! Come because the time is convenient and is still super adult-friendly and hilarious!

Performing Improvisers:
Kareem Badr
Roy Janik
Marc Majcher
Valerie Ward
Peter Rogers
Curtis Luciani
Michael Joplin
Kaci Beeler
Patrick Daniel
Topping Haggerty
Meghan Wolff
Jon Bolden
Kristin Firth

Technical Improvisers:
Mo Daviau
Todd Hart
Wyatt Cargile
Neal Tibrewala
Kim Roche

We've read our Dickens, studied the Victorian lifestyle, practiced our stage beatings and perfected our accents!
Come see us in full Victorian costume with improvised lights, sound, music and a brand new Hideout set!

This show isn't even half over yet!

This December The Hideout Theatre is offering 6pm family-friendly shows of Charles Dickens Unleashed!
Austin's youngest improvisers (from the Flying Theater Machine improv classes) will be performing in a short set before all of the 6pm shows. So for all of you with kids and families, please consider coming out and spread the word!
(We're not watering down our shows by any means, these are just less terribly violent and promiscuous)

Also, our show last week got a super positive review by the Austin American Statesman:
