Unless, of course, the person you're telling is a reasonably secure and realistic adult.

That being said, thanks for not picking a fat asshole for me.
Thanks for saying this, Lance, for those of us who are sensitive, not necessarily overly insecure. (Actually, I was afraid someone would pick Miss Piggy for me.)

I did think about that before posting. I hope you weren't offended by who I picked (I said he doesn't look like you), but he is a really talented funny guy, so that should count on the positive side.

I also like Cody's response. Actually, I was thinking of John Belushi for Cody, not based on looks, but I was afraid he might be offended because of his untimely end.

I also appreciate Jeff's comment and agree that it can be either/or; some physical similarity helps.

Just thought of a super-complimentary double portrayal…

Listen to Todd Glass' new album or any of the last twenty episodes of the Best Show on WFMU for back up on this.

I still haven't recovered from someone telling me in high school that I looked like Tom Green. Especially because he seemed shocked that I didn't necessarily think that was a compliment.

That motherfucker.

I used to get compared to Tom Green a lot right after college. Then I got a paycheck as a Tom Green look-a-like for the MTV Music Awards.

You know what it apparently takes to look like Tom Green? A dark-haired goatee. That's it. That's all you need. I Know this because I too was told I looked like Tom Green when I had a goatee.

I used to hate getting this comparison because I got it so often. Quite okay with it now. And, no, I'm not sure why my eyes are glowing like that.

Just because I know it'll drive him nuts.

Based on this thread:

The Starter Kit would be Bob Dylan, John Ritter, Zach Braff, and Jermaine Clement

PGraph would be Naveen Andrews, Lily Tomlin, Seth Rogan and Alyson Hannigan (pictures coming soon)

Girls Girls Girls would be Christina Ricci, Bette Midler, Sarah Silverman, Janeanne Garafalo, and Britany Murphy with accompaniment by Christopher Lee

That is awesome to me.

I doubt very seriously that Sarah Silverman could do all the bendy stuff that Kacey does. And I may be able to play Bette Midler... but that is NOT a two way street. If AIC the movie ever comes out, I'd be very disappointed with that casting choice. Very. Disappointed.

If I could really have my pick of anyone to play me, hands down I would want Tina Fey. I feel like she could portray my personality perfectly.

I'd rather see Sarah Jessica Parker play me if you're casting is based on a woman with curly hair and a big shnoz. And while we're at it let's have Megan Fox play Kacey Samiee. They're both hot with dark hair.

I like that, Aden! I have no idea who I'd want to portray me. In 20 years though, I'd want it to be Helen Mirren.

I've given it further thought... while I don't think they look that much alike, I do think that in terms of bendiness... Sarah Jessica Parker should actually play Kacey Samiee.

I knew this was a silly thought, but I really wanted to see the reaction. I suppose reasonably secure adults aren't often drawn to the arts - but then, secure adults are in short supply everywhere.

Still though, the thick skin required to deal with, say, audition rejection doesn't extend to being able to handle someone saying you vaguely resemble a Muppett?
