Only $25 for a three hour workshop with two of New York's edgiest improv talents!

Movement For Improvisers and Emotional Intelligence
with Nick Ross and Graeme Hinde
Saturday, September 5th, 3:30 - 6:30
At The New Movement
$25

Two workshops for the price of one! Are you stuck in your head? Do you feel like you're trying too hard or over-thinking your scenes? Or do you just want to learn some new ways to approach scene work? Whatever you're looking for, this workshop has something for you. Nick Ross will show you how to get out of your head by getting into your body, and discover characters through physicality instead of trying to invent them with your brain. Graeme Hinde will show you how to stop thinking and start feeling; you'll create richer and more dramatic scenes by listening to your emotions and using them to inspire feelings in your scene partner.

Nick Ross is a guest instructor at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York, where he teaches Movement For Improvisers. He's been a part of UCB over four years, performing in Harold Night as well in his critically acclaimed shows Cool Your J and Highly Evolved Human, with which he's currently touring the country. He holds a degree in acting from the University of Colorado and has continued his movement education in contact improv and stage movement with Erica Kaufman, movement instructor at the University of Denver, Penn State, and Juniata College in Pennsylvania.

Graeme Hinde has been teaching and performing all over the country since 1999. He's a regular instructor at the Oberlin College Improv Conference, and is currently wrapping up a successful workshop series in New York called Deconstructing The Basics, before going on tour with Nick to teach workshops and perform their critically acclaimed show Highly Evolved Human. He studied and performed over three years at IO Chicago before moving to New York.
