Wow.  I never imagined what the video for that song would be like.  Obviously, if I had, I should have imagined precisely that. :)

I somehow just discovered Wolfmother. I'd heard their one single on the radio a few years back but hadn't given it much of a listen. They're like old school Black Sabbath + Deep Purple + The White Stripes. Very nice.

Went looking for a Brendan Benson song and got stuck listening to a bunch of them. Love this guy's stuff.

The Album Leaf - Micro Melodies

Probably one of my favorite tracks. Nothing but a picture in the video, so go about your business and let The Album Leaf help you pass the time.

i haven't updated in awhile and there's been just a TON of new music in the last few weeks coming out or coming to my attention, but I came here to mention The Mantles new lp, which is just great. Follow this link for an mp3 of "Don't Lie" from an earlier single but re-recorded for the album.

Been digging this guy, but I'm a total sucker for pluck and twang.

Okay... it might be cliche because of the exposure on the OC and the resulting SNL parody... and now the rap song remix...

But Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap is such a beautiful song. My eyes start leaking almost every time at "that it's all for the best".

I'm obsessed with this song. I want so badly to see the harmonies transcribed on paper so that I can understand it. I've figured out the basic structure but that's not at all what makes this song so amazing. It's like I won't ever be satisfied until I understand it's many, many layers mathematically, but even that's not what makes it so perfect. What a "deep" piece of music. I love it.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.
