Tonight at the Blanton

Post by Asaf »

THE BLANTON B SCENE, 6 - 10:30PM
The Blanton Museum of Art presents the B Scene, The Blanton's monthly party celebrating art. This month's theme is spontaneity, so of course improv is involved. From the Blanton's website:

Join us for B scene, the Blanton's monthly art party. This month, enjoy an evening of improv as members of the Hideout Theatre (Kaci Beeler, Curtis Luciani and Asaf Ronen) and Get Up (Shannon McCormick and Shana Merlin) wow the crowd with art-inspired performances throughout the evening (at 7, 8, and 9 PM in the auditorium). Plus enjoy music by DJ Starsign and the Learning Secrets, free appetizers, cash bar, art activities, and more.

The B Scene events are monthly and always enjoyable and tonight you can take in some improv with your usual culture. Win/Win!

Buy Tickets Online or at the Museum

Even without the improv, this is a pretty good deal, folks. $10 gets you some delicious appetizers, access to the museum's collection of PRICELESS ARTWORKS, and lots of other fun.

I saw a bunch of improv folks in the audience and I appreciate you guys for coming.

You helped us impress our clients at the Blanton and this will surely lead to more paying improv gigs.

I really liked the show! Y'all were the funny. That was a very large and very receptive audience. I also enjoyed the novelty of the steeply inclined seating for improv. Y'all were like, way down there!

Thanks to Sara Fara and Asaf for putting this together. And thanks to the imps who came out to support us. Everyone played great. It was a lot of fun and I think we exposed new audiences to some improv goodness.
