Tickets went on sale for this a few minutes ago and they're having a 24-hour 15 percent off discount price until tomorrow at noon.
The show doesn't happen until November 13, but I'm likely going to this. Crumb can be weird and interesting. Spiegalman is supposed to be really smart and surprisingly funny. Mouly, I honestly don't know anything about.
Marc, I saw you're likely going. Anyone else planning on going?

I will be there, schedule permitting. Mouly is Spiegelman's wife--she ran RAW with him back in the day and was the art editor for the New Yorker in the 90s, bringing people like Charles Burns, Chris Ware, and Dan Clowes to their pages. She's in the late 80s documentary Comic Book Confidential and is really funny, smart, and charming.

Yeah, I figured you planned on going too. I read as much about Mouly online, but I have to confess that I don't remember knowing her name before now. It's possible I have and just forgot. I'm looking forward to this. Seeing Scott McCloud talk last year at UT was pretty amazing.shando wrote:I will be there, schedule permitting.
