Harry Potter gift bags

Post by Asaf »

Hey guys, by July 10th, I need to get some materials over to Book People for them to include in their Harry Potter gift bags. So far, I have the AIC brochures and the free tickets which will go into each purchase bag. If you have anything that you want included you need to let me know and get the materials to me this weekend.

I am waiting to hear how many bags are going to be filled, but still you want to stake your claim.

Would matches be appropriate?

If not, Roy or I will get a stack of Pgraph tickets to you.

Bah!
Giving children matches is a great way for them to perfect their Extinguishing Spells, first introduced to us by the dragon keepers in book 4 prior to the Tri-wiazrd tournament.

We can make anything tie in thematically.

We should also work the crowd and actually connect with people that liked the performance rather than just to hand out free tickets in a blanket like manner.

Half-those bags will go to 12-year olds and most the parents will never see nor care what was in them. And even if the parents do get them, parents are 30% less likely to go out for food or entertainment than couples without children. But this would be a great opportunity to get face to face and make those personal connections that will yield better turn around. Tickets are--even if well-stocked--a finite resource after all.

Of course, being sued over our matches being used to burn down some muggle's house would keep our name in the paper for months!

So it turns out that there are 1,500 bags that are being distributed. We might be better off handing out stuff around the stage instead of going into the bags. I agree with Wes on this one.

I can get some more FTM postcards by then. Depending on the time, I might even be able to help distribute.
