And just in case anyone feels slighted, there was no real method in this madness. There are no troupes or people out there that were intentionally excluded, just troupes that we didn't get to before we ran out of space. If we neglected you this time around, bug us and we'll get you in Waffle Fest or next year's marathon with priority.

So we've got almost every hour booked with killer formats and troupes. Now all we need are the audiences.
To fill 40 hours of improv in a 50-seat theatre, we need 2000 people. Or 1000 people twice. Or 500 people four times. We've got a Facebook event for the marathon that currently has about 1000 people invited and 94 confirmed guests. If we just invite 4000 more people and then make the ones who show up stick around for four hours, we'll sell out the marathon. You with me so far?
Let's say there are about 200 active improvisers on this forum (not counting Pussycake and william howard taft). If everyone on the forum went to the facbook event page...
http://utexas.facebook.com/event.php?ei ... 918&ref=mf
...and invited 20 friends, we would be golden. Pimp the shows you're excited about or the shows you're in, or the shows that you think no one will come to because it's 10am on a Saturday.

Ok, now that you've said that, can I say it's The Starter Kit, not Starter Kit? Not a big deal at all and I'm likely the only person ever in the troupe who's ever cared when we get advertised as Starter Kit instead of The Starter Kit.Pdyx wrote:It's not a big deal, especially because it ends up wrong in a lot of different ways in different places, but it's "Northshore Local" sans the e.
I'm pumped about being involved with this! I'm going to encourage my friends to come to as much of this as they can.
Also, I added about 50 people to the invite list on Facebook. Some of them are fellow imps and some of them don't even live here, but they all know people who do.

Recording Shifts
Can we get a shift rotation going on the camera? I'll be there to set it up at 4pm, and stay through Midnight on Friday, but I'm not going to be there Saturday - and probably not on Sunday - I have to move everything out of my apartment on Saturday.
I can take 4pm Friday to Midnight Friday.
Also, again, any SD cards you can bring, 4GB or higher, will make things that much easier.

You should come and see! Especially during one of the off hours, we could really use the audience thennadine wrote:I want to see what subconscious oddities comes out of sleep deprived improvisors...
