Improv Festival Oklahoma!

Post by Tyler B. »

Hello neighbors to the south!

Red Dirt Improv is proud to announce that we are hosting Oklahoma's first ever Improv Festival Oklahoma!

July 16-18.

We are taking submissions for performance troupes, and individuals are more than welcome to sign up for the workshops. We have confirmation that the Twin City's Jill Bernard will teach both the 17th and 18th. We are in discussions with Joe Bill of Chicago's' Annoyance Theater.

If you would like to be a part of it, please let me know ASAP at aabnab@yahoo.com.

All the ducks are still lining up, but it looks to be an exciting, duck filled time.

We now have a signed contract from Joe Bill!

He will be teaching workshops. He and Jill Bernard will be performing Scram both nights at the Improv Festival Oklahoma!

Good times!

The website has been redesigned.

It now includes a workshop breakdown and a submission form.

Sweet! Thank you for all of this info delivered right to our forum!
It's a pretty short drive from Austin to Oklahoma (all things considered), the trip would make a nice little festival getaway for some troupes, I think.

Thanks!

I actually have gotten a couple nibbles from the Austin improv scene. I am not surprised. You guys are the best!

6 hours away if you drive like a Texan. 7.5 if you drive like an Oklahoman.

It looks like Confidence Men is going and we are probably going to rent a car, maybe now we will rent a mini-van.
