Props to Nice Astronaut for taking improv to the people.
Boy Toy guested last night at Nomad (a bar off of Cameron Rd where the Astronaut is hosting Improv Night every Wednesday from 8-10pm), and these shows aren't easy. They're asking people to stop and pay attention: first to short form games but then to longprov and, in our case, a jangled, ornery Harold. Mostly the modest crowd was curious, interested, and occasionally amused, and that's all you ask for when you're on their turf.
Check out guests Midnight Society next Wednesday (6/24)
Thanks Nice Astronaut
Anything about the AIC itself.

Bar-prov is hard. Props to anyone willing to stick their neck out and do it. For reals.

I noticed last night that you could actually change the mood with the lights, like a fancy theater!!Roy Janik wrote:Oh yeah! I really enjoyed your stage and lights, as well as the very warm audience.
Oh and random kudos to Kaci for the hallway at the Hideout! It's beautiful!!
