That's actually a decent question. Why so soon at the end of June? Why not at the end of July?

Holy shit, you're right! We hadn't looked at a calendar before!

This is the only weekend we can do it in the even remotely foreseeable future. It's definitely not ideal, but it's pretty much now or never.

I'm sad I'll be missing it, too. 40 hours, that's madness! Hopefully you can post a 4 minute highlight reel when I get back ;)

Congrats, Hideout!

Yep. We looked at a calendar, and it was either that weekend or next year sometime.

So full speed ahead!

Yikes. Sorry if I hit a nerve. I was just curious is all. Really, no other intent meant here other than curiosity.

Yeah bitch! You during it during the last Guilds weekend!

Actually, I'm gonna try to play and volunteer and plan my schedule around everything else that's going on. It'll be raw dog without a bag, ya'll.

I'm just a big ol' bitchy bitch.

Seriously, I'm just in a mood. I start to twitch when someone even remotely implies that something hasn't been thought-through. Apologies. I have sent Justin a sloppy kiss and a bouquet of roses.

Can anyone say live, via satellite??

(Because I can't. I burnt my tongue drinking hot chamomile after lunch.)

That's okay. I'll consider it a virtual birthday spanking.

The schedule is firming up nicely. We'll have an official post tomorrow morning.

In the meantime we're jazzed to have the following troupes committed:

Improv For Evil
Your Terrific Neighbors
Available Cupholders
The New Movement
Northshore Local
Snackers
Midnight Society
Starter Kit
Look Cookie
No Chaser
ComedySportz
Flying Theatre Machine
ColdTowne
The Institution
A Bunch of Liars and Love Notes
Parallelogramophonograph
Junk
McNichol and May
Unfurled
The Institution
and more?

Each troupe will join the eight marathon players for an hour-long set at some point during the 40 hours. Expect wild formats and generally hilarious chaos.

Promote this! It will be so much more fun for us to be playing in front of actual people.
