Zach Ward is a Chapel Hill native and proud Carolina graduate. He's the founder and Artistic Director of DSI Comedy Theater and also the Founder and Executive Producer of the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival. Zach helped grow the Chicago Improv Festival as Associate Producer from 2003-2006 and refuses to stop asking people to support local comedy.
As a performer Zach has received critical acclaim from the Chicago Reader and the Chicago Tribune for his performance with DUAL EXHAUST (Critic’s Choice, Highly Recommended, Super Cagematch Champion 2003-2004, Top 10 “Most Influential Comedy Duos of the Past Decade”) and THE BEATBOX (Critic’s Choice, Best Bet, Chicago's "Top 5 Late Night Shows").
