Atlanta Improviser Back in Town for the Holidays

Post by Falkenberg »

Hello everybody,

You may remember me from my visits in the past or perhaps from the festival circuit. I’ll be in town from Dec 21-31. Will there perchance be any performance opportunities I could take advantage of? Maybe a Micetro show or a Same Year’s Eve celebration? I have a bunch of family and friends in the area and since I live in Atlanta they rarely get to see me perform.

Micetro on the 27th has been cast already, but Same Years Eve is happening. Dec 30th at The Hideout. Show up at 7pm or so and sign up!

Welcome back, Matt!

Thanks Valerie and Chris. It's good to be back. You guys are super swell. Say, is there an Improv Jam happening tonight at 7pm? I'd like to come to that if it's still happening.

As far as I know, the jam is happening! Although it may not have a leader tonight. Wanna run it? :)

Thanks for letting me lead that. There were only three people there and it was a little choppy at first as I figured out what I was doing, but it was fun once we got rolling. I mostly focused on the storytelling aspects of improv and on heightening scenes. One of the three folks had to leave at 8:45pm. So we did a La Ronda and ended up finishing a little after 9pm.

See you guys again on the 30th.
