This Thursday. One Night Only. Sit Down!

Post by kbadr »

This Thursday, in lieu of a PGraph show, Kareem and Valerie present Sit Down, our arbitrarily-named sister (nemesis?) troupe of Get Up. Two person improv! Never before seen, and possibly never seen again.

You will laugh!
You will howl!
You will get out of your seat and sit back down again!

You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live

Dang, just saw this. Wish I could have seen my rival/nemesis/sister troupe. How'd it go?

It was a lot of fun. We did a scene with audience-assisted scene-painting, a razowsky and clifford-esque chair scene, a TJ&Dave-inspired grounded scene from nothing, and then a fun 20 minute Get Up narrative that was inspired by music and started with scene painting. And we told the audience exactly who we were...er...borrowing from...before each segment. Fun stuff!

Sweet!! I hope the audience liked it, but I'm sure they did.
