Spaztique Explosive - Self Titled Album* Preview/Sampler

Post by Spaztique »

Last Christmas, I recieved Sonar 7 - Producer Edition. A year later, I have finally mastered it and its many virtual instruments and plugins. Now, I have an album in the works: "Self Titled Album* (Not Really a Self Titled Album)".

Image

The instrumentals are mostly done, despite how some of the more complex orchestral parts need work.

Listen to the Self-Titled Album instrumental sampler and tell me what you think of the instrumentals, as well as what you liked and didn't like about the tracks.

Tracks (in order of appearance):
1. Boom Boom Eurobeat
2. Split Image
3. Can't Go On pt. 1
4. Totally Friggin' Sweet
5. Spire
6. I Am Alive!
7. Acid Wash Ocean
8. Can't Go On pt. 2
9. Medicine and Murder
10. Death to Cliches

So far, Death to Cliches is the only track I have 100% completed with vocals and mastering, and everyone who has listened to it so far has liked it to some degree. Vocals will probably be the toughest because I'm planning to implement everything from rapping (for songs like I Am Alive and Split Image), belting (Death to Cliches, Totally Friggin Sweet), and just plain singing (everything else except Spire, which is an instrumental).

Pretty fun stuff, man. Sounds like a Megaman game. What software did you use?

Nice job! I am digging Boom Boom Eurobeat, Spire, and Death to Cliches. The others are obviously well done. They just don't suit my own personal taste as much. I can tell you have put a great deal of work into this. You should be very proud of it! Kudos to you!!!

Awesome work, David. I love how detailed and full they all sound. I was also struck by how different the mood & style of each track is. None of them sound too much alike, which is my chief complaint about techno in general.
