So you could have different odds for different players depending on the directors. Like a troy/andy director might be a better combo with certain actors. Where as an Asaf/ roy director might be better with someone else. And Dav could be by himself.

That sounds like a great complication - but maybe for down the road once we have things a bit more settled.

A micetro gambling ring would have to operate completely separately from a fantasy league to ensure fairness. However I do think it would be cool to come up with more stats than just points earned.

Hat game points earned.
Full Cast Challenge points earned.
Number of scenes participated in without being scored.
"No thank you, number X"s earned

etc. etc.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.

The challenging and fun thing about any Fantasy league is predicting, from a regular line up (in this case, cast) who will play, start, match up against other players, and so on.

The other fun thing is picking up free agents, trading, and going game by game with who plays and who's available.

I say you create your "draft" pool from a total list of players that have played in 2008. Maybe you create a criteria (have had to played in at least x shows). That way, as new players come into micetro, they could be eligible for free agent status.

You then use stats (if you can get them) like how many rounds survived, number of micetro wins, average round score, and such like that, to evaluate and draft players.

Then all you need is a system of how you, as a Fantasy owner, score points. Several ideas have already been posited. I think creating this system could be lots of fun (like assigning a point value to the use of callbacks). Of course, this means that someone would need to keep track of such things at each micetro, and post to a board the next day.

This probably merits a meeting of those interested to spec this stuff out.

Assuming that this thread is kind of serious, and not just a goof. Which it may be. I can never totally tell with you guys.

Word.

Also, keep in mind that a player's score is really the least significant factor in determining how well they really played in the show.

Did this ever happen? seemed like a hilariously nerdy idea. Especially if it could be shared with the public

As novel an idea as it was, the logistics are near impossible. One thing needed for the success of this is a consistent roster of players from which to base the league. With players coming in and out of the cast all of the time, Maestro is not the best format for a fantasy league.

ComedySportz on the other hand....heheh
